Regional Finals Success for 1st VII Netball Squad

The RGS Worcester 1st VII Netball team competed in the Regional Finals last week, facing some of the strongest schools in the region after qualifying through the County round.

Throughout the pool stages, the team delivered a series of composed and competitive performances, combining accuracy, discipline and determination to secure their place in the semi-finals. Competing at this level provided an important opportunity to measure themselves against top regional opposition and demonstrated the strength and cohesion within the squad.

Reaching the semi-finals represents a significant achievement and confirms the team’s progress this season. Although the team narrowly missed out on a place in the final and an invitation to the national finals, the players should be immensely proud of their performance which sets them up well for the rest of the Netball season and ‘Superball’ at the University Arena on 21 March.
