Early Years Education

Nursery and Reception Admissions age 2+

The RGS Journey begins in the Early Years, where children learn through discovery, creativity and play, in a happy and nurturing environment.

Families can choose from a range of Early Years settings across The RGS Worcester Family of Schools. RGS Springfield Nursery and RGS Dodderhill Nursery provide dedicated nursery settings for children aged 2-4, while Nursery and Pre-School at RGS The Grange offer the first stage of a child’s journey through the School, with a natural transition to Reception and beyond. 

Pre-Prep School

Admissions age 4+

Pre-Prep School is an exciting stage of a child’s education journey, building on the strong foundations established in Pre-School and Reception and developing confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning. 

At RGS The Grange, children in Reception class, Year One and Year Two benefit from small class sizes, specialist teaching and a broad curriculum designed to inspire curiosity and creativity. Learning extends far beyond the classroom, with opportunities in Sport, Music, Forest School, Performing Arts and Outdoor Leaning helping every child to flourish.

Prep School

Admissions age 7+

Prep School at RGS covers Year Three to Year Six at our Junior School; RGS The Grange in Worcester. RGS The Grange Prep School is committed to ensuring your child has a smooth journey into the next stage of their education by building confidence, self-esteem and a positive growth mindset. 

Senior School

Admissions age 11+ and 12+

The RGS Worcester Family of Schools offers two outstanding Senior School pathways.

RGS Worcester is our Senior School in Worcester, and is situated in the heart of the City of Worcester. RGS Worcester is open to boys and girls from 11-18 years.

RGS Dodderhill is our Senior School in Droitwich, and is a setting for girls only from 9-16 years. 

Senior School education is a crucial stage in a pupil’s academic journey. Pupils are exposed to a wide range of subjects, focusing on in-depth learning and independent study.

Sixth Form

Admissions age 16+

The independent Sixth Form at RGS Worcester provides an exceptional environment for students preparing for university, apprenticeships, and future careers. With outstanding academic results, specialist teaching, and a wide range of leadership and enrichment opportunities, students are supported to achieve their ambitions and develop as confident young adults.

Based in the dedicated Sixth Form Centre, students benefit from flexible study spaces, excellent pastoral support, bespoke careers guidance, and a vibrant community atmosphere. Alongside academic success, the Sixth Form experience encourages independence, leadership, and personal growth, ensuring students are fully prepared for life beyond school.
