Let’s Get Connected
RGS Worcester is pleased to renew its partnership with Worcester Warriors as the club’s Official Education Partner for the 2026/27 season.
During the first year of the partnership, pupils across The RGS Worcester Family of Schools benefited from a range of experiences both at Sixways Stadium and within our Schools.
Senior rugby pupils took part in specialist training sessions at Sixways led by Worcester Warriors Head Coach Matt Everard and members of the Warriors coaching and performance staff, while pupils at RGS The Grange enjoyed rugby activity sessions, player interviews, a live Q&A and signing session with Worcester Warriors players.
The appointment of former Worcester Warriors captain and England international Chris Pennell as Head of Rugby at RGS Worcester will further strengthen links between the School and the wider Worcestershire rugby community.
We look forward to continuing to build opportunities for pupils throughout the 2026/27 season.

🏛️✨ Classics Partnership Event at RGS Worcester
We were delighted to host a fantastic Classics Partnership Event, bringing together pupils to celebrate the ancient world and a shared love of Classics.
Through a range of engaging activities, pupils explored Latin, classical civilisation and ancient history, collaborating with peers and deepening their understanding of the subject. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm, curiosity and academic passion on display throughout the event.

🌍💻 RGS Pupils Share Digital Leadership Expertise on a Global Stage
Pupils from across The RGS Worcester Family of Schools presented at the Apple Distinguished Schools Global Summit held at RGS Worcester.
In their session, ‘What Does Student Digital Leadership Look Like at RGS Worcester?` pupils shared how they support staff and fellow pupils, use technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance learning, and develop confidence and leadership skills.
They then worked directly with international delegates, answering questions, sharing practical advice and helping school leaders consider how they could develop student digital leadership in their own schools.
The impact was clear, with one delegate reflecting: “We need so much more of this… it changes our assumptions about pupils can do.”

We were delighted to welcome delegates from around the world to RGS Worcester as the host venue for the Apple Distinguished Schools Global Summit 2026.
This prestigious international event, organised by Apple, brought together schools to share best practice, innovation and ideas in teaching and learning using technology. It was a privilege for RGS Worcester to provide the setting for such an inspiring and collaborative occasion.
Throughout the summit, visitors experienced a range of sessions, discussions and opportunities to connect with fellow delegates, all focused on enhancing education through creativity and digital innovation.

📚 A journey into history for Thor’s Day Book Club ✨
Members of our Thor’s Day Book Club enjoyed a fascinating visit to Worcester Cathedral Library, exploring one of the largest and most historic cathedral collections in the country.
From Anglo-Saxon charters and medieval manuscripts to world maps and even King John’s will, pupils had the incredible opportunity to step back in time and experience history firsthand. The visit brought to life the literature, history and culture they explore each week in Book Club.
A particular highlight was discovering the doodles and imaginative marginalia left by monks, proof that creativity has always had its place in storytelling!
A wonderful way to round off the Club’s first year, and we look forward to many more literary adventures to come
