🎾🌟 From Malvern to Wimbledon! 🌟🎾
A huge congratulations to Luca, Year 8, who represented RGS Worcester at the Play Your Way to Wimbledon National Tennis Finals 2026!
Luca earned his place at the national finals after winning both the club and county finals at Manor Park Tennis Club in Malvern, securing the incredible opportunity to compete at the All England Lawn Tennis Club during the summer holidays.
Playing on the courts of Aorangi Park, where the world’s top players practise during the Wimbledon Championships, Luca competed against 47 other talented U14 players from across the country.
After winning his first two group matches in impressive fashion, Luca fought hard in his final match to secure his place in the knockout draw. He then returned to the courts for another competitive match, relishing the opportunity to play at Wimbledon once again.
While his tournament journey came to an end in the knockout stage, Luca can be incredibly proud of his achievement and what an unforgettable experience to play at Wimbledon!

🏏Outstanding Summer of Cricket Success 🏆
Congratulations to RGS Worcester pupils Jay, William, Zayaan and Moin, who enjoyed a superb summer representing Ombersley Cricket Club Under 15s.
The team were crowned 100-ball County League Champions, winning the final at New Road, Worcester.
Their success continued in the T20 Cup, where they became Worcestershire Champions before going on to win the Regional Finals at Leamington Spa and progress to the National Semi-Finals.
Reaching the last four nationally was a fantastic achievement and capped an excellent summer of cricket for the RGS quartet.
