Settling In and Looking Ahead
As the new academic year unfolds across The RGS Worcester Family of Schools, it has been wonderful to see our new pupils in Years Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten and the Sixth Form settling in at RGS Worcester. Pupils have been meeting their teachers, making friends and quickly becoming part of the RGS community.
We asked some of our new Year Seven pupils to share their thoughts on their first week at school, and here’s what they had to say:
“Everyone has been really welcoming, and it already feels like I belong here.”
“I’ve enjoyed exploring the school and trying out lessons that are completely new to me.”
“There are so many clubs to choose from, I am excited to join a few and see what I like best.”
We also asked some of our new Sixth Form students about their first impressions:
“Joining the Sixth Form has been a big step, but the teachers and other students have made it feel really positive.”
“I am looking forward to having more independence and taking part in opportunities that will prepare me for the future.”
This week has marked the start of an exciting journey at RGS Worcester, one filled with new opportunities, challenges and friendships. Whether you are stepping into our classrooms for the first time or continuing your journey with us, we are confident you will find a warm and supportive environment where you can thrive.
Here’s to making new friends, embracing new experiences, and achieving great things together. Welcome to the RGS family!
