RGS Family of Schools Shortlisted for Two National Awards
The RGS Worcester Family of Schools has been shortlisted as a Finalist for two national categories at the Tes Schools Awards 2026: ‘Best Use of Technology’ and ‘Independent Senior School of the Year’.
The Tes Schools Awards celebrate schools and educators from across the UK, recognising excellence and innovation in both the state and independent sectors. This year’s awards attracted a record number of entries, making this double shortlisting even more of a significant achievement.
The ‘Best Use of Technology’ category recognises schools driving innovation in teaching and learning, with the RGS Worcester Family of Schools shortlisted for its work in developing and embedding educational technology. This is the second time RGS has been selected for this Award.
RGS Worcester has also been shortlisted for ‘Independent Senior School of the Year’, an award that celebrates schools delivering an outstanding all-round educational experience.
The shortlist was selected by a panel of experienced judges, including school leaders and education specialists, from entries submitted across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Headmaster, Mr John Pitt, said: “Being shortlisted for two Tes Schools Awards is wonderful recognition for everyone across The RGS Worcester Family of Schools. These nominations reflect the dedication, creativity and commitment of our staff, alongside the enthusiasm and achievements of our pupils. To be recognised both for our use of technology and as Independent Senior School of the Year is particularly special, as it reflects our ambition to provide a forward-thinking education while ensuring that every pupil is known, valued and inspired to achieve their best.”
The winners will be announced at the Tes Schools Awards ceremony on Friday, 19 June at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. We wish everyone involved the very best of luck.
