Outstanding Results in Chemistry Olympiad
RGS Worcester students achieved an excellent set of results in the Royal Society of Chemistry Olympiad, with awards across all categories. The challenging paper extended well beyond A Level content, with questions covering topics including the chemistry of swimming pool water, henna tattoos, isocyanides and beta-carotene. Pupils responded with confidence, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a secure understanding of complex concepts.
In total, RGS Worcester students achieved 3 Gold, 15 Silver and 11 Bronze awards. Jai, Jacob and Noah were awarded Gold medals, with Jai achieving the highest score recorded by the School in recent years, a particularly impressive achievement from a Lower Sixth student.
These results reflect the hard work and commitment of all pupils involved, their willingness to engage with challenging material beyond the curriculum, and the superb guidance of their teachers. Congratulations to all for these excellent results.
