Lower Sixth Student Achieves Swimming Coaching Qualification
Lower Sixth student Anya Wood has achieved an outstanding milestone, successfully completing her Level 1 Swimming Coaching Qualification. A dedicated member of Pershore Swimming Club since the age of seven, Anya began supporting younger swimmers at just twelve years old and has continued to show remarkable commitment to the sport.
To secure the qualification, Anya undertook an extensive programme involving an e-learning module, three four-hour webinars, an in-person practical assessment and fifteen online assessment units, earning 100% in every element. This is an impressive accomplishment at only sixteen, the minimum qualifying age, and is made even more noteworthy as she has also begun studying four A Levels in the Lower Sixth this year.
Reflecting on her achievement, Anya said: “I am delighted to have achieved this qualification and I am excited to continue sharing my passion for Swimming with the next generation.”
Anya’s hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication to supporting younger swimmers are exceptional, and we wish her congratulations on her qualification!
