Worcestershire’s Number One! Jacob wins Under 17 800m 

Congratulations to Year Eleven pupil Jacob Bunyan who competed in the Worcestershire County Track and Field Championships last weekend, winning the Under 17 County 800m event. Jacob achieved First position with an excellent time of 2.12.06. 

The Championships, organised by Worcestershire Athletic Association, welcomed athletes from across the county to take part in track and field events, as well as an Under 11 Quadrathlon at Stourport Sports Club on Saturday. 

Director of Sport, Mr Gareth Roots, said: “Very well done to Jacob for this latest achievement. Jacob’s focus and ability, alongside his excellent attitude towards competing in sporting events is shining through, and I wish him well for future athletic events.”
