RGS Worcester Named Co-educational Independent School of the Year Finalist
RGS Worcester has been named a Finalist for ‘Co-educational Independent School of the Year’ in the Independent Schools of the Year 2026 awards.
The national awards celebrate excellence and achievement across the independent education sector, with hundreds of entries submitted across 25 categories. RGS Worcester was selected as a Finalist following an entry highlighting the breadth of education offered across Academic learning, Pastoral Care, Co-curricular opportunities, innovation and preparation for life beyond School.
The recognition follows an outstanding year for the School, which was named ‘Independent Senior School of the Year’ at the Tes Schools Awards in June. To receive further national recognition marks another significant achievement for pupils, staff and the wider RGS community.
The winner of ‘Co-educational Independent School of the Year’ will be announced at the Independent Schools of the Year awards ceremony on Wednesday 14 October, when the overall Independent School of the Year will also be announced from among the category winners.
Congratulations to everyone in the RGS Worcester community on this latest national recognition. We look forward to the Awards ceremony next month.
