RGS Family of Schools Celebrates National Recognition in Independent School of the Year Awards

The RGS Worcester Family of Schools is celebrating national recognition after RGS Worcester, RGS The Grange and RGS Dodderhill were each commended in the prestigious Independent School of the Year Awards 2026.

RGS Worcester has been commended in the Co-educational Independent School of the Year category, making it the only school in Worcester to receive this recognition. The commendation follows the School being named Tes Independent Senior School of the Year 2026 earlier this year, marking an exceptional period of national success.

RGS The Grange has been commended in the Independent Pre-Prep School of the Year category, while RGS Dodderhill has been commended in the Independent Girls’ School of the Year category. Together, these commendations highlight the breadth and quality of education across The RGS Worcester Family of Schools.

With a record number of entries received this year, the Independent School Parent judging panel described the standard of submissions as exceptionally high, making the selection process more competitive than ever.

The Independent School of the Year Awards celebrate excellence and innovation across the independent education sector, recognising schools that deliver outstanding outcomes and experiences for their pupils. Finalists will be announced in September, with winners revealed at the national awards ceremony in October.
