A Fond Farewell
In the RGS Times this week, we bid a fond farewell to staff who are leaving RGS Worcester at the end of this term. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them for all their hard work and commitment and wish them the very best for the future.
Mr Ollie Biddle, Head of Athletics and Strength & Conditioning
Mr Ollie Biddle is leaving his position as Head of Athletics and Strength & Conditioning. Since joining the School, Mr Biddle has made a significant impact on the development of our athletes. His expertise, energy, and commitment have been central to the growth of both our Strength & Conditioning programme, Athlete Development Programme as well as Athletics provision.
A highly accomplished athlete himself, Mr Biddle has brought the discipline, insight and inspiration of an elite 400m runner to his work with our pupils. His leadership has strengthened performance across many sports, and his coaching has been valued by pupils and colleagues alike.
We offer Mr Biddle our sincere thanks for his contribution to RGS Worcester and wish him every success as he moves on to his next chapter at the University of Birmingham.
Mrs Rachel Whiteley, Rowing Coach
Mrs Rachel Whiteley is leaving the Sports Department following her time as a Rowing Coach at RGS Worcester. A long-standing member of Worcester Rowing Club, Mrs Whiteley has brought considerable experience to our Rowing team, drawing on her knowledge of coaching, coxing and the familiar stretch of the River Severn. Her support has been valued by our rowers, and she leaves with our warmest thanks for her commitment to the programme. We wish her all the very best for the future.
