Open Day Sunshine!
Despite a rather wet day on Saturday, the sun shone at RGS as our team of friendly staff warmly welcomed families to tour our School. To manage visit numbers and ensure Covid safety measures remained in place, guests were allocated appointment times and were greeted by their tour guide (with brolly in hand!), eagerly waiting to show them around the School.
During the morning, visitors were also able to speak to Headmaster, John Pitt, ask questions, and find out more about life at our School and what an RGS education can offer.
Younger children enjoyed following the ‘duck trail’ around the School and were delighted to see that four mallards decided to join us by lying on the grass and enjoying the Open Morning experience!
In true RGS style, guests concluded their visit with a takeaway box full of a tempting array of cakes and treats.
Thank you to everyone who joined us last Saturday. Below are just some lovely comments we received from visitors to our Open Morning:
“We were delighted to spend time with the Headmaster, it was great to hear his beliefs about the importance of an all-round education and the family feel at RGS.”
“Our son absolutely loved the morning and came away telling us repeatedly that he cannot wait to start.”
“Our very impressed and excited 10 year old cannot wait to start in September 2022 and is a happy and proud member of the RGS Family!”
“The cakes were a real hit and utterly delicious!”
If you were unable to visit us on our Open Morning, please do get in contact and we would be delighted to arrange a visit for you and your family on a normal school day. To find out more and to book, visit rgsw.org.uk
