Director of Innovation Presents at LearnED
Director of Innovation for the RGS Family of Schools, John Jones, presented at the LearnED Liverpool conference today, sharing knowledge and good practice with Headteachers and Senior School Leaders on how our Digital Learning Programme (DLP) continues to make a positive impact in our schools and beyond.
The LearnED event is an educational technology conference, led by The British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA), in conjunction with the Department for Education (DfE) and aims to explore and support the effective use of technology in schools.
In his presentation, Mr Jones focused on ‘culture’ and its importance for successful deployment of technology. Mr Jones also joined an expert panel to discuss “EdTech Evolution: revisiting digital strategies” in front of a live audience.
He said: “I was thrilled to be asked to speak at the conference alongside other schools in the UK, who are leading the way using technology in education. It is an honour to be able to share the RGS story, and the impact technology has had. We have been able to combine great teaching, a strong culture of learning and innovation and a determination to achieve the best for the pupils during these challenging times.”
