RGS Continues Partnership with Worcester Warriors
RGS Worcester is delighted to continue as the sole Official Education Partner of Worcester Warriors for the 2026-27 season, building on a successful partnership that has already created a range of opportunities for pupils across The RGS Worcester Family of Schools.
The renewed partnership follows an exciting season for the Warriors, who secured the Championship title with victory in the Final on Saturday 30 May. As part of the celebrations, the Championship trophy visited RGS Worcester and RGS The Grange on Thursday 11 June, giving pupils the opportunity to see the trophy up close and celebrate the Club’s success.
Throughout the new season, RGS Worcester will continue to feature on the Warriors’ playing kit, while pupils will benefit from further opportunities to work with current Warriors players and coaches. The partnership will also provide access to selected Club and sponsor events, alongside opportunities that bring pupils closer to the professional Rugby environment at Sixways.
The relationship extends beyond Rugby, with RGS Worcester and Worcester Warriors also working together to explore ways of developing the Club’s community programme further and creating additional opportunities for young people across Worcester.
The partnership has also strengthened connections between the School and the wider Worcester business community. Headmaster, John Pitt, joined a panel of local business leaders, including the Worcester Warriors Chief Executive Officer, at a Sixways Business Club meeting in July. The panel discussed Leadership, Recruitment and Retention in Business and Sport.
We look forward to continuing our partnership with Worcester Warriors throughout the 2026-27 season and developing further opportunities for pupils, families and the wider community.
