Success on Stage with Seven Standout Performances
Just before the Easter break, Year Eight pupil Vienna Whale performed seven dances in the Midland Theatre Ballet’s production of The Twelve Dancing Princesses at the Crescent Theatre in Birmingham.
Following a competitive audition process, Vienna was selected to take part in the large-scale production, performing multiple roles across a demanding programme. Rehearsals required sustained commitment over several months, with weekly sessions building to intensive full-day rehearsals in the lead-up to the performances.
Performing in a professional theatre environment presented new challenges, with Vienna balancing multiple roles and maintaining consistency across a full run of performances. She approached each performance with composure, demonstrating strong technical control and stage presence throughout.
Having begun dancing at a young age, this opportunity represents a significant milestone and reflects the dedication she has shown to her training over a number of years.
We congratulate Vienna on this excellent achievement and look forward to following her continued progress in Dance.
