County Call-Up for Two Sixth Form Students
Lower Sixth students Charlie Rucinski and Bill Wilesmith were selected to represent Herefordshire County Rugby at a recent tournament in Stourport.
Both players stepped up well to the demands of County Rugby, competing against strong opposition across the day. Charlie and Bill showed real composure in a fast-paced environment, contributing consistently and working effectively within the side.
The experience provided an important opportunity to test themselves at a higher level, with both players adapting well to the intensity and physicality of representative Rugby.
Head of Rugby, Mr Lewis, said: “It was great to see Charlie and Bill out there competing at county level. They both brought real energy to the group and handled the step up well, which is exactly what you want to see at this stage of their development.”
Their selection is well-earned recognition of their progress in Rugby this season. We congratulate Charlie and Bill on their achievement and look forward to seeing how they continue to develop in their sport.
