Inclusive. Challenging. Stimulating.

RGS Worcester wins National Tes Independent Senior School of the Year Award 2026

RGS Worcester has been named Independent Senior School of the Year 2026 at the prestigious Tes Awards, one of the highest accolades in UK education.

Selected from schools across the country, the award recognises RGS Worcester’s outstanding combination of academic excellence, exceptional pastoral care, innovation and commitment to preparing young people for life beyond School.

The recognition reflects the dedication of our staff, the achievements of our pupils and the strength of the wider RGS community, and follows a period of sustained success including record academic results, national recognition for innovation and continued investment in pupil opportunities.

Cherishing the Past, Looking to the Future

Our motto โ€˜Cherishing the past, looking to the futureโ€™ reflects a school that combines tradition with a modern, forward-thinking approach to education. Our Digital Learning Programme inspires pupils to be active learners, and co-curricular opportunities provide them with the chance to express themselves and pursue what they love.

RGS Worcester is a welcoming and friendly school. Class sizes are small, and RGS is large enough to provide a wealth of opportunities but small enough that each pupil is treated individually and encouraged.

With leading academic results, an award-winning Careers provision, breath-taking co-curricular opportunities and excellent pastoral care, RGS Worcester is determined to see each child achieve their full potential.

We warmly welcome you to visit us and discover our outstanding independent school in Worcester for yourselves.
