🏃 Cross-Country Season Gets Off to a Flying Start!
RGS Worcester runners enjoyed an excellent start to the Cross-Country season, delivering impressive performances at the ESAA Cross-Country Cup and Winterfold Cross-Country event.
Highlights included individual victories for Amélie and Sam, Regional Final qualification for the Year Seven Boys and an outstanding team victory for the Junior Boys at Winterfold, securing the winners` shield!
Congratulations to all our runners on a fantastic start to the season. We look forward to seeing their progress in the competitions ahead!
⛳ RGS Golfers Show Determination in ISGA Season Opener
RGS Worcester golfers recently faced Solihull School in the opening round of the ISGA Matchplay competition at Worcester Golf and Country Club.
Both teams delivered determined performances, with impressive victories for Will and Maisie, while Max battled through an exciting three-hole sudden-death play-off.
Congratulations to all our golfers for demonstrating excellent skill, resilience and sportsmanship throughout!
Expedition Weekend Highlights Adventure, Teamwork and Resilience
RGS Worcester pupils and students recently enjoyed an action-packed weekend of Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) expeditions and Combined Cadet Force (CCF) activities, developing their confidence, teamwork and practical skills beyond the classroom.
Gold DofE students travelled to Eryri, North Wales, for canoeing and sea kayaking, while Silver DofE pupils explored the Long Mynd in Shropshire, developing their navigation and campcraft skills.
Meanwhile, CCF Army cadets put their fieldcraft, navigation and reconnaissance skills to the test at Nesscliffe, while CCF Royal Navy cadets visited Britannia Royal Naval College in Dartmouth, enjoying activities including a Gun Run, Archery, swimming and a Bridge Simulator.
A fantastic weekend of adventure and new experiences. Congratulations to everyone involved and thank you to the staff who made these opportunities possible.
🎓 Academic PE Trip to the University of Bath! 🏅
Our RGS Worcester pupils enjoyed an inspiring visit to the University of Bath, exploring the world of sport and exercise science and discovering more about the opportunities available within higher education.
The trip provided a valuable opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world applications, deepen their understanding of sport and performance, and gain an insight into university life.
A fantastic experience for our aspiring sports scientists!

🩺 Exploring Careers in Healthcare
Fourteen RGS Worcester students recently visited Malvern College for a hands-on Healthcare Careers Day, exploring pathways in Medicine and Dentistry alongside students from Malvern College and The Chase School.
Led by Will and his team from CLEFT Bridging the Gap, the day offered valuable insights into these professions, with practical workshops in Dentistry and surgical suturing techniques.
Our thanks go to Malvern College for hosting and to CLEFT Bridging the Gap for delivering such an engaging and informative experience.
