Year Nine Pupil Qualifies for National Championships and Celebrates Team Triumph
Year Nine pupil, Georgie Timmis, has enjoyed a superb season competing for the West Midlands Dressage Group in the My Quest and Team Quest categories. Riding her pony, Lola, Georgie took part in the British Dressage regional semi-finals, where she competed in two Under 21 individual classes and a third class as part of the West Midlands team. The standard of competition was incredibly high and, although the team narrowly missed out on securing their place at the National Championships, Georgie was thrilled to qualify as an individual for the My Quest National Championships in November.
Her season also brought further success at the British Dressage Regional Celebration Awards, where Georgie and her West Midlands teammates were nominated in the Team Quest category. Representing the North and West region against teams from across the country, the group were delighted to be crowned national winners.
We congratulate Georgie on these outstanding accomplishments and commend her commitment, talent and enthusiasm for her sport. We look forward to following her progress at the National Championships and in future competitions.
