RGS Worcester Students Celebrate Excellent Results & Exciting Futures

Students at RGS Worcester are celebrating today after achieving an excellent set of A Level, BTEC and CTEC results, with the School’s largest ever Upper Sixth cohort securing places at leading universities, competitive degree apprenticeships and a wide range of exciting future destinations.

Alongside another extremely strong set of A Level results, this year also saw the School’s best ever BTEC and CTEC results, underlining the breadth of academic and vocational excellence across the Sixth Form. 

In addition, the students achieved the School’s best ever Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) results with 22 students achieving A*/A. 

The diversity of student destinations is equally impressive. From Architecture, Business, Design, Education, Engineering, Geography, Languages, Law, Medicine, even to Zoology, RGS Worcester students will now embark on an extraordinary range of degree courses and career pathways.

Six RGS Worcester students achieved their places at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, while others have accepted places at other leading universities across the UK and abroad or secured highly competitive degree apprenticeships with employers such as EY.

Headmaster, John Pitt, commented: “These are superb results by our students and the individual stories are very special. The sheer range of subjects, Universities, Apprenticeships and Gap Year experiences that our students are pursuing is so exciting and demonstrates the support they receive to achieve the places they have chosen. From studying traditional professions, the Arts and new courses for a future world, these students will make a real difference. They have done so well and deserve every praise and congratulations.
