November Concert Series
It has been a pleasure for the Music Department to release its first virtual Concert series this month. Beginning at the start of November with the release of the Sixth Form Girls Quartet’s performance of ‘A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square’, the November Concert Series has continued in earnest this week with a new performance being released online each day. In these unusual times, we are so pleased that ensemble music-making has been able to continue, and that these groups have been able to put together recorded performances. We are proud of the way each Year group has adapted to Covid-secure music-making in class and performing for these recordings.
In case you missed them, links to the November Concert Series films are below. They are a real joy to watch and showcase the talents of young musicians here at RGS Worcester.
Sixth Form Girls Quartet perform ‘A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square’
Year Ten Ensemble perform ‘Gonna Fly Now’
Sixth Form Strings perform Romanian Folk Dances by Bartok
Year Seven Ensemble perform ‘The Muppet Show’
