National Hockey Recognition for Year Ten Pupil

Congratulations to Year Ten pupil Harrison, who recently took an exciting step in his Hockey development after being invited to attend an England Hockey Under 16 trial at Lilleshall National Sports Centre.

Harrison earned the opportunity following a successful Talent Academy competition earlier in the summer, with his performances leading to an invitation to the two-day England trial on 5 and 6 September. His achievement was particularly impressive as Harrison was competing a year above his age group.

The trial rounded off an exciting period of Hockey for Harrison, who has also spent the past year playing for the UK Lions, concluding his season with the team at their final tournament in Belfast during the summer.

Harrison’s progress reflects the considerable hard work he has put into his Hockey. Director of Sport, Mr Fowles, also praised his dedication, highlighting his National League involvement and goalscoring performances during the previous season.

Congratulations to Harrison on this fantastic achievement. We look forward to following his continued progress and future Hockey successes.
