Festive Fun at RGS
RGS Worcester has once again enjoyed the lead up to the Christmas holidays with many festive events including: ‘Christmas with Big Band’, the Carol Concert in Worcester Cathedral, the Year Seven ‘Christmas Bauble’ competition (sustainable Christmas decorations made for our Christmas tree) along with lots of ‘tinsel-ating’ decorating of Form rooms and festive themed learning in classrooms this week. Urged on by the Headmaster’s message to think of others at this time of year, pupils have been tirelessly collecting for the Worcester Foodbank and the Year Eight Shoebox collection given to New Hope Children’s Charity.
Today, pupils and staff enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch served in Main Hall, complete with all the trimmings and treats, accompanied with the delightful sound of Christmas Carols and singing by members of the Choir.
As we finish the Michaelmas term today, we wish all of the RGS community a Happy Christmas and an enjoyable holiday!
