Fabulous First Week at RGS
It has been a great pleasure to welcome pupils back to RGS Worcester this week.
The warm weather this has enabled pupils to enjoy the school grounds, with many gathering on the lovely lawns and enjoying the gardens – which are looking particularly beautiful.
Following the easing of Covid-19 restrictions, it is lovely to see pupils reconnecting after the summer holidays and hear the laughter and excitement as they walk to and from lessons.
We also welcome many new pupils to RGS Worcester this September, into Year Seven, Year Nine, the Sixth Form and in other Year groups as well. We asked some of our new Year Seven pupils to reflect on their first week at school and here is what they had to say:
“The school is so welcoming and I am very happy here.”
“Lessons are fun and interesting, the teachers are really helpful, there are millions of fantastic opportunities and clubs in the school and lunches are the best ever!”
“The teachers are really supportive and love helping people out, all of them are really friendly too!”
“In lessons you always finish with something new you have learnt.”
