Introducing Our School Captains & Deputies for the Year Ahead
Congratulations to Upper Sixth students Rachel, Sihan, Isla and Zac, who have been appointed School Captains for the 2026-27 academic year.
They will be supported by Deputy School Captains Henry, Julia, Emily, Grace, Poppy, Thomas, Jai and Mati, forming an important part of the School’s student leadership team for the year ahead.
School Captains and Deputy School Captains play a key role in the day-to-day life of RGS Worcester, representing the School at events, welcoming visitors, delivering speeches and supporting pupils and staff across a wide range of activities. Alongside House Captains and Senior Prefects, they also provide valuable leadership and act as positive role models for younger pupils. The Senior Prefects also provide support for younger pupils as Pastoral Prefects.
The roles provide students with the opportunity to develop their confidence, communication and leadership skills, while contributing directly to the wider School community. Through their responsibilities, the Captains help strengthen links between Year Groups and support the welcoming and inclusive environment that is central to life at RGS.
We congratulate Rachel, Sihan, Isla, Zac, Henry, Julia, Emily, Grace, Poppy, Thomas, Jai and Mati on their appointments and wish them every success in their new roles during the year ahead.
