Lower School Pupils Explore Life Beyond the Classroom

This week, Lower School pupils had the opportunity to explore the extensive range of Co-curricular clubs and activities available at RGS Worcester during this year’s Lower School Activities Fair.

The Fair gave pupils the chance to discover new interests, speak to staff and fellow pupils involved in different activities and find out how they can become involved in the wider life of the School. With opportunities ranging from Sport, Music and Drama to Coding, Debating, Gardening, Greenpower, Chess, Textiles and Theatre Technical Club, there was something to appeal to a wide variety of interests.

For pupils who have recently joined RGS, the event provided a particularly valuable introduction to Co-curricular life at the School. Alongside familiar activities such as Rugby, Hockey, Netball, Cricket, Rowing and Athletics, pupils could also explore opportunities including Art Mindfulness, Junior Jazz, Shakespeare ESU, Junior Science, Environment Club, Board Games Club and Strength and Conditioning.

Co-curricular activities form an important part of life at RGS Worcester, giving pupils opportunities to develop new skills, build confidence, make friendships and discover interests beyond their Academic studies.

The Fair provided an energetic start to the new academic year and encouraged pupils to make the most of the wide range of opportunities available to them. We look forward to seeing Lower School pupils getting involved and trying something new over the year ahead.
