Summer Productions Showcase RGS Pupils’ Talents
Pupils from The RGS Worcester Family of Schools are preparing for an exciting line-up of Summer productions, showcasing their talent on external stages.
First up is ‘Peter Pan’, presented by Starbuck Theatre Youth and set to enchant audiences at the Norbury Theatre in Droitwich from July 5 to 7. RGS Springfield’s Giorgio Di Fano will shine in the dual roles of Mr Darling and a pirate in the Team Land cast. Audrey Hargreaves, Cooper Collins and Elizabeth Kaleniuk will also captivate in named roles of John, Mr Darling, and Tiger Lily in Team Never and additional roles of Lost Boy, Pirate, and Brave Girl in Team Land.
From RGS The Grange, Henry Hargreaves takes on the role of Ship’s Cleaner (Pirate), while RGS Dodderhill’s Annabel Perks and Autumn Waters portray Brave Girls. RGS Worcester’s Year Seven pupil, Carolina Di Fano, will portray a small but courageous girl in Team Land, with Year Nine pupil Audrey Hargreaves and Year Ten pupils Cooper Collins, Emily Jackson, and Elizabeth Kaleniuk playing pivotal roles across both teams.
Following ‘Peter Pan’, attention shifts to ‘Fame’, staged at Malvern Theatre from August 20 to 24 by Malvern Theatres Young Company. RGS Worcester’s Julia Gebhardt (Year Ten) dazzles as a main dancer, Year Eleven pupil Sorrel Coxcoon embodies Grace Lamb, and Year Ten pupil Elizabeth Kaleniuk portrays Serena Katz.
These productions promise to highlight the immense talent and dedication of RGS pupils in the Performing Arts, with each performer poised to deliver impressive performances on stage. We wish them the very best of luck in the upcoming performances.
