Top Ten in Cross-Country Championships
Last Friday, RGS Worcester took a bumper number of Cross-Country runners to RGS The Grange to compete against six other Worcester schools in the District Cross-Country Championships. Thirty-five pupils took on the undulating and rather wet course and all ran well, showing great determination. Notable successes included First place for Claudia Barker in the Year Seven Girls’ race, Noah Dunnett winning the Junior Boys’ race and Dylan Teasdale coming First in the Intermediate Boys’ race. In addition, our Intermediate Girls’ team secured six of the top ten places! Many will now go on to represent Worcester district in the County Championships in January.
Running club also rounded off a successful term with our festive morning runs this week and we look forward to starting again in the Lent term.
Keep on running!
