RGS Worcester Swimmers Secure Second Place at Gala
RGS Worcester swimmers delivered a strong performance at the Worcester City Swimming Gala, securing second place overall.
Competing over 25m distances, the format suited the team well, allowing swimmers to demonstrate speed and power from the outset. Across all events, pupils competed with confidence and determination, producing a number of notable individual performances.
The relay races were a particular highlight of the gala, with swimmers working effectively as a team to deliver fast, well-executed performances. These events proved significant in contributing to the School’s overall placing.
There were also several standout individual performances, with swimmers demonstrating strength, control and technical ability in the water.
Overall, it was a successful gala and a valuable competitive experience for all involved. Finishing second overall represents a strong outcome, reflecting the team’s commitment and effort throughout.
