RGS Worcester Family of Schools Named Chamber Awards Finalist

We are delighted to share that The RGS Worcester Family of Schools has been named as a finalist in the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Awards 2026 for the second consecutive year.

The School has been shortlisted in the ‘Best Use of Technology and Trends’ category, which recognises organisations demonstrating innovation through the effective use of technology and forward-thinking approaches.

The entry focused upon the development and use of the Blackout app as a means of restricting smartphone use during the school day. This provides a technological solution to a problem that all schools have been told to address by the Government.

This recognition reflects the continued commitment across our Schools to embedding technology in a purposeful and impactful way, enhancing both teaching and learning.

As the Award winners from last year, we look forward to the Awards ceremony in June and congratulate all those involved in this achievement.
