Discover Sport at RGS Worcester
Families with children in Years Five and Six are invited to join RGS Worcester for a free Sport Taster Morning on Saturday 3 October, offering an enjoyable opportunity to experience Sport at the School first-hand.
Open to boys and girls of all abilities from schools across the local area, the morning will run from 8.30am to 12.00noon and will include a range of practical activities led by members of the RGS Sports team. Girls will have the opportunity to take part in Hockey and Netball, while boys will experience Rugby and Football, alongside a selection of general sporting challenges.
The morning is designed to give children the chance to try different activities, develop their skills and enjoy Sport in the RGS environment, whether they already play regularly or are simply keen to get involved.
Parents are also invited to stay for a welcome presentation in Perrins Hall at 9.00am from Director of Sport, Mr Keith Fowles, providing an opportunity to learn more about Sport at RGS Worcester and the wide range of opportunities available to pupils.
Pupils from the RGS Prep Schools will be invited to take part in separate Sport Taster events, with this morning specifically welcoming children from other schools across the local area.
