RGS Athletes enjoy University visit
A group of 14 RGS Worcester students who participate in the Elite Athlete Development Programme were fortunate to visit the University of Nottingham. They were able to experience ‘A day in the life of a Sports Scholar’ at the University, receiving talks from current Sports Scholarship University students, a tour of the campus and their impressive David Ross Sports Village. The students took part in a Strength and Conditioning session, testing their speed and vertical jump scores. They were also fortunate to use the new state-of-the-art Hydro pool, which is heated to contrasting extreme cold and heat temperatures to aid recovery. It was a fascinating day for our students, providing a glimpse into life at University.
