National Online Safety Award

We are pleased to announce that the RGSW Family of Schools have been awarded National Online Safety – Safe Remote Education Accreditation from NOS. NOS is a multi-award-winning digital training provider with extensive resources in online safety, developed in line with the Department of Education’s statutory requirements. 

RGS Director of Innovation, Mr Jones commented “Receiving this accreditation, demonstrates that the RGSW is providing the right support for pupils; high quality and safe remote education, which supports pupil wellbeing. This, alongside our Apple Distinguished School status and being shortlisted for ‘The Covid-19 Response Champions’ BETT Awards earlier this year, exemplifies that our school has an excellent grasp of both the pedagogical and safety sides of remote education.”

The NOS School Accreditation also provides parents of RGS pupils free access to the excellent NOS App which empowers an understanding of, and how to address, online safeguarding risks. The NOS App is the world’s most comprehensive online safety App and is packed with insightful courses, explanatory videos, webinars and guides on topics that will help you protect children when they’re online. You also get weekly email updates with information on the latest Apps, games and digital trends.
