Mr Tim Messent, Head of Rowing
RGS Worcester bi
ds farewell to Tim Messent as he steps down from his role as Head of Rowing.
During his time at the School, Tim brought a wealth of experience to the programme, drawing on his previous work with Evesham Rowing Club, Cheltenham College and New College Oxford, as well as his roles with British Rowing as Regional Development Coach and Education and Training Manager.
Tim’s enthusiasm for Rowing, alongside his strong interest in strength and conditioning, has made a lasting contribution to the development of the Boat Club. He has provided exceptional opportunities for the pupils to compete, alongside encouraging wide participation which has led to more pupils Rowing than ever before at RGS.
We thank Tim for all he has given to Rowing at RGS Worcester and wish him every success in his next step at Canford School.
Miss Amélie Johnson, Administrative Assistant
RGS Worcester bids farewell to
Amélie as she completes her Gap Year with the School’s Admissions and Administration team.
A former pupil, Amélie returned following her Upper Sixth studies last academic year and quickly became a valued member of the staff team. Her recent experience of life at RGS Worcester brought a genuine and relatable perspective for visiting families, alongside her support with Admissions tours, events and the day-to-day work of the department.
Over the past year, Amélie has contributed across a wide range of areas, from supporting Partnership events and assisting with school tours to helping with Admissions processes and administrative tasks. Always approachable and dependable, she played an important role behind the scenes, ensuring that busy days ran smoothly.
As she now looks ahead to a period of travel before beginning her studies at Durham University, we thank Amélie for all she has given during her time back at the School.
We wish her every success in her next chapter and look forward to hearing about her adventures in the months ahead.
