Discover Sixth Form at RGS Worcester
RGS Worcester is looking forward to welcoming prospective students and their families to the Sixth Form Open Morning tomorrow, Saturday 10 October, offering the opportunity to discover what makes the Sixth Form such an exciting next step.
Throughout the morning, visitors will be able to explore the School and Sixth Form Centre, meet students and staff and learn more about the wide range of A Level, BTEC and CTEC courses available. Families will also be able to discover the Academic, Co-curricular, Sporting and Creative Arts opportunities that complement Sixth Form study, alongside the extensive Careers support available as students prepare for life beyond School.
The Open Morning follows an exceptional summer of results at RGS Worcester. The average A Level grade achieved by the Upper Sixth was an A, while the School celebrated its best-ever BTEC and CTEC results, with Distinction* the most common grade awarded. Students have progressed to an exciting range of destinations, including Oxford and Cambridge, other leading universities, Degree Apprenticeships and Gap Year opportunities.
Beyond their academic studies, Sixth Form students are encouraged to explore their interests, take on new responsibilities and prepare for life beyond School. From specialist Careers guidance and the Extended Project Qualification to Sport, Music, Drama, Debating, CCF, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and student leadership, there are opportunities for every student to shape their own Sixth Form experience.
Most importantly, Open Morning provides prospective students with the chance to speak to current Sixth Formers and their teachers, explore the facilities they use each day and gain a real sense of the supportive and ambitious community they could become part of.
There is still time to join us tomorrow and discover where Sixth Form at RGS Worcester could take you. We look forward to welcoming prospective students and their families. If you haven’t done so already, book your place for Sixth Form Open Morning here.
