Rallying to Victory: A Round-up of Tennis Achievements
The last Half term has been an exciting and competitive period for our Tennis teams, showcasing their skills and determination across various fixtures. From the Under 13 Boys’ team maintaining their undefeated streak to the Under 18 Girls’ team demonstrating resilience in the Aberdare Cup, our players have consistently displayed exceptional talent and sportsmanship. Below is a summary of their recent performances and accomplishments:
The Under 13 Boys’ Tennis team continues their undefeated run, securing victories in their league fixtures with impressive 6-0 wins against both Woodrush and Bromsgrove School. Their outstanding performances throughout the season have earned them the top spot in the Division.
The Under 15 Boys’ team faced a challenging match against Bromsgrove School, resulting in a 2-4 loss. They have one more fixture scheduled for this term, where they will look to end their season on a high note.
In the Girls’ competition, the team advanced to the third round of the Aberdare Cup with a commendable 4-2 win against St. Edward’s Cheltenham. However, they encountered a formidable opponent at Ellesmere College, succumbing to a 0-4 defeat. Despite the loss, the girls showcased fantastic Tennis skills in both their Singles and Doubles matches.
