Severn Stars for RGS

Congratulations to Annie Letori and former pupil Maddie McLeod, who have both been selected for the Severn Stars Under 19 Netball Long Squad for the 2020-21 season. We are also pleased to announce that the RGSW Nova Academy programme has now launched. The programme is available to all existing Nova Academy players, as well as all registered trialists, since trials have not yet been able to take place due to COVID-19. Training sessions, which will initially be held online, will be led by our Head of Netball, Miss Gibbons, and include skills and drills on movement, ball skills, defence, attack and off-court work.

Miss Gibbons, who is part of the Severn Stars Superleague squad herself, has been busy with her own off-court work, rehabilitating from an unfortunate ACL injury. She was recently invited on to the Netball Show Podcast to talk about her journey back to the game and how she has coped during the lockdown period.
