Lower Sixth Student to Perform in Worcester Passion Play
Lower Sixth Drama Scholar, Hope Bradley will be performing in the Worcester Passion Play 2024 on Good Friday. This will sadly be the last time the Passion Play will be performed in Cathedral Square.
Last year, on Good Friday, more than 1,000 people came and witnessed the live open-air performance. The Passion Play is a dramatic presentation depicting the Passion of Jesus Christ: his trial, suffering, death, and resurrection. Passion Plays are performed in many cities around the UK and the world.
Hope will be playing the role of several characters as well as Salome in the Last Supper scene. Hope will be joined by her father Paul, who is a former RGS pupil (OE, 1980-87), who will play the part of a Roman soldier.
The play is free to attend and will be performed in Cathedral Square at 10.30am on Good Friday. For further information, please click here.
We wish Hope and her father Paul, all the very best for this upcoming performance!
