Lochie’s GB Canoeing Success

Lower Sixth student Lochie Lovell has had recent impressive accomplishments in Canoe marathon racing. Lochie had the honour of representing Great Britain at a prestigious race held in Amsterdam in April.

This marked Lochie’s debut on the international marathon scene, a milestone he had been eagerly anticipating. The excitement of competing for his country fuelled his determination as he took to the water alongside 130 paddlers.

Despite strong competition, and the challenges posed by the course, Lochie demonstrated remarkable skill and resilience and navigated the racecourse with precision and determination, earning him a superb fourth place finish.
