Lexi Shines at Under 15 ISF World School Games in Serbia
Year Ten pupil Lexi Agoston recently represented England at the Under 15 ISF World School Games in Serbia, experiencing an unforgettable and highly rewarding international competition.
Competing in a packed schedule of events, Lexi took part in the 50m, 100m, and 200m breaststroke, as well as team relays. Impressively, she made the finals in all her individual events—a fantastic achievement at such a high level of competition. Lexi set new Personal Bests in both her 50m and 100m breaststroke races, showcasing her dedication and progress.
The highlight of the meet came when Lexi secured a brilliant Bronze medal in the final of the 200m breaststroke, a truly outstanding accomplishment against strong international competition.
Adding to the excitement, the England team went on to win the overall swimming competition, making it an even more memorable experience. Despite the unexpected arrival of snow, the atmosphere remained vibrant and celebratory throughout the event.
With 55 countries represented at the ISF Games, Lexi also had the opportunity to meet and form friendships with young athletes from all around the world. Facing challenging circumstances throughout the trip, Lexi showed great resilience, positivity, and sportsmanship, making RGS Worcester extremely proud.
Congratulations to Lexi for her outstanding performance and the way she represented both England and RGS Worcester on the international stage!
