Countdown to the RGS Careers EXPO 2025
Next week, we will welcome pupils, parents, and visitors from across Worcestershire to the eleventh annual RGS Careers & Higher Education EXPO on Thursday 6 March 2025, from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. Taking place during National Careers Week, this highly anticipated event will provide an invaluable opportunity to explore a wide range of career, university, and apprenticeship pathways.
With many exhibitors in attendance, including leading UK universities, top businesses, and organisations from diverse industries, the EXPO offers pupils the chance to engage directly with industry professionals. Many universities, including from the Russell Group, will be present, offering insights into Higher Education, while businesses and organisations will be on hand to discuss opportunities in the workplace and Degree Apprenticeships. Whether pupils are considering university study or stepping into the world of work, the event promises to offer both inspiration and practical guidance.
More than 700 visitors are expected to attend, and pupils will have the chance to ask questions and gain valuable advice to help shape their future aspirations. Open to RGS pupils and students from secondary schools across Worcestershire and beyond, the EXPO is designed to support all those exploring their next steps.
The event has been expertly organised by Head of Careers, Mrs Audrey Williams, and Careers Administrator, Mrs Helen Kirk. Mrs Williams commented, “This year, we are delighted to welcome representatives from a broad spectrum of organisations, businesses, and professions. As one of the most significant events of its kind in the area, the RGS Careers EXPO attracts interest from across the country, with exhibitors travelling from afar to support students in making informed decisions about their futures.”
Now in its eleventh year, the EXPO remains a key event in the RGS calendar, bringing together pupils and professionals in an engaging and informative setting. As the Headmaster writes in the Event Guide, “You are certain to find something that ignites your passion and fires your curiosity!”
