An Enchanting Production Is Underway
A new Term brings fresh opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. As we move into the Lent Term, we are delighted to announce a new Co-curricular highlight for our Senior pupils: the upcoming production of ‘The Ash Girl’ by Timberlake Wertenbaker.
This captivating play will be performed in the Performing Arts Centre over three nights in March. It will allow Senior pupils to immerse themselves in various aspects of theatre, including acting, costume design, set creation, and technical production.
The story follows the Ash Girl, who struggles to believe she can attend the Ball hosted by Prince Amir. With her mother gone and her father absent, she must confront the monsters that have crept into her heart and mind. Through this enchanting and thought-provoking drama, Wertenbaker beautifully explores the challenges and triumphs of growing up.
Rehearsals for this production are already underway, and roles have been cast. This enchanting reimagining of the classic Cinderella story promises to be memorable. We look forward to seeing the talents of our Senior pupils come to life in this production.
While this Senior production is rehearsing, we are also auditioning for the Summer production of ‘Harry Potter And The Cursed Child’ for Years Seven, Eight and Nine. The pupils are really looking forward to taking part in this exciting play.
