A Level Students Dive into Computer Science at Warwick
Last week, our A Level Computer Science students attended the Computer Science in Action event at the University of Warwick, an exceptional enrichment day tailored specifically for A Level Computer Science students. The event featured five engaging sessions, during which students were introduced to a team of experts from both academia and industry. These experts presented on dynamic and highly relevant topics, offering students an exclusive look into the exciting possibilities in the field of Computer Science.
The sessions covered a wide range of subjects, from the promises and challenges of Large Language Models (LLM) to the complexities of human-technology interaction. As part of the experience, students also attended an examination masterclass, where they gained invaluable tips on how to excel in their upcoming assessments.
Our students left the event feeling inspired and motivated, with fresh perspectives on the rapidly evolving tech landscape. A huge ‘thank you’ to the speakers and organisers for such an enriching day!
