Equestrian Excellence for Isabel and Millie
Two Year Seven pupils, Isabel Callow and Millie Dickens, have recently enjoyed outstanding success in Equestrian Dressage, earning national recognition and representing the School with distinction.
Isabel has achieved a significant milestone by winning the Regional North West Championships, securing her place at the prestigious National Dressage Championships. Alongside the excitement of this accomplishment, Isabel was also delighted to be featured in ‘Horse and Hound’, the national Equestrian publication. She is now training diligently three times a week, in addition to her Netball commitments, as she prepares to compete against a strong field of Under 21 riders at the Nationals.
Meanwhile, Millie has also had remarkable success, qualifying for the National Championship Finals at Addington at two levels. She impressed by finishing third in the Under 21 category, missing out on victory by less than half a percent and becoming the youngest rider to finish on the podium. Her recent performances caught the attention of British Dressage, who interviewed her for over an hour about her achievements. Looking ahead, Millie is now preparing for the upcoming Premier League show on 14 May and is aiming to be selected to represent England at the Home Nations event in August.
Both Isabel and Millie continue to demonstrate outstanding commitment and talent to their Sport and we wish them every success in the competitions ahead.
