England Call Up for Maxwell Moses

Over the summer, Year Ten pupil Maxwell received his first cap for the Under 16 England Football team. He was selected to play Goalkeeper for England against Italy in Florence in August. 

Maxwell set himself the target of playing for England within five years and is thrilled to have achieved his dream early, playing at Under 16 level in spite of being only 14 years old.

Maxwell played in two matches in very high temperatures but he managed to stay focused as England conceded only one goal in the first match and in the second, Maxwell managed to keep a clean sheet. He was told that he was very professional, a great Goalkeeper, a wonderful team player, and a fabulous person with high morals.

We are incredibly pleased to hear of Maxwell’s accomplishment and of how well he has represented RGS Worcester, and we wish him continued success in his Football career.
