A Fond Farewell
In the RGS Times this week, we bid a fond farewell to staff leaving RGS Worcester at the end of this term. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them for all their hard work and commitment and wish them the very best for the future.
Ms Teresa Baker, Learning Development Teacher and Access Arrangements Assessor
Teresa has been a much-valued member of the Learning Development team, working 1:1 with pupils across a range of different subject areas. Over the last eight years, she has supported many pupils to achieve life-changing outcomes – her impact cannot be overstated. We asked some pupils to share a few reflections about her work with them. Here’s a small sample of what they said: “thank you for my confidence”; “thank you so much for helping me with everything in my time here, especially my English GCSE and also with my DT project”. As she retires from the team, what we will miss most is her ‘can-do’ attitude and we wish her all the very best in the months and years to come. Knowing Teresa, though, she’ll be just as busy as she was at RGS Worcester!
Ms Nichola Guidotti, Teacher of Music (Maternity Cover)
Nikki has spent two days a week with us this term in the Music Department. She has been a wonderful breath of fresh air, giving great enthusiasm and vibrancy to all of her lessons and rehearsals, particularly with the Junior Choir, whom she led so well in the recent Cathedral Colour Concert. She has been generous with her time and skill; we sincerely thank her for all she has done here and wish her well with her continuing work at Wolverhampton Grammar School and in all of her many other creative endeavours.
