GCSE Results 2025
RGS Worcester pupils have achieved superb success in their GCSEs this year, including the School’s best-ever results with 99% of all Grades 9-4 and 61% of all Grades 9-7. Over 70 pupils have achieved Grades 9-7 in at least 7 subjects.
John Pitt, Headmaster, commented, “I am delighted for our Year Eleven pupils who have achieved such excellent results and can now look forward with confidence to the next stage of their education in the Sixth Form at RGS Worcester. These results are a real credit to their hard work and commitment and I would like to congratulate them and their families. RGS Worcester Celebrates Best Ever Public Examination Results
At RGS Worcester Upper Sixth students marked an exceptional set of Public Examination results. Pupils secured superb results across A Levels, BTECs and CTECs enabling them to take up offers at leading universities, degree apprenticeships and pursue a wide range of exciting future pathways.
John Pitt, Headmaster, commented, “Congratulations to the RGS students for these brilliant results which have been achieved through exceptional hard work and commitment. This Year group worked incredibly well together and with their teachers and they can be extremely proud of all they have achieved. It is particularly enjoyable to see the students celebrate attaining their chosen courses at Universities and for Apprenticeships.
I would also like to congratulate the teachers whose expertise has meant that the students have achieved RGS Worcester’s best ever results. With almost one third of all Grades at A* and two thirds at A*/A Grades, or equivalent, the teachers really know how to get the very best from the students.
This Year group was also a very busy one with impressive achievements in Sport, Music, Drama, Dance and in so many other areas of school life. They have made a huge contribution to the RGS community, and to be able to celebrate their superb Academic results with them and their parents today is really wonderful.”
Upper Sixth students at RGS Worcester celebrated after achieving the School’s best ever results which saw almost one-third of students achieve the top A* grade, almost two-thirds achieved A*/A grades and 98.5% achieved A* to C or equivalent.

BTEC success
Alongside their A Level successes, RGS Worcester students who studied BTEC qualifications – either exclusively or in combination with A Levels -also achieved outstanding results. An impressive 95% were awarded the top grades of Distinction* or Distinction, reflecting their dedication, practical expertise, and academic ability.
