📢 A HUGE thank you to all the amazing families who generously donated food for our harvest food collection last week! 🙌🍎 Yesterday, a small team made up of our Year Six Charity and Global Citizens and Head Boy and Girl delivered the donations to Worcester Foodbank, and they were beyond grateful for your support. Every can, box, and bag will make a real difference for families in need.
This morning, Year Six had an exciting visit to the Textiles Department at RGS Worcester as part of their `Kite Making` DT project. Over the past few weeks, the pupils designed their kites and printed their patterns onto fabric, all in preparation for today`s hands-on experience. At the Textiles Department, they learned how to sew their designs and worked with sewing machines. Their efforts were rewarded with some well-deserved cookies! It was another successful visit to RGS Worcester, helping Year Six get more familiar with the Senior School as part of our transition programme. #RGSTheGrange #RGSFamilyOfSchools #Education
Our Year Six Lego Leaders visited Worcester Diglis Fish Pass to learn about river conservation and engineering as inspiration for this year`s Lego League competition. #RGSTheGrange #RGSFamilyOfSchools #Education
Last weekend, Year Six embarked on an exciting Rugby and Hockey tour. Along the way, they stopped to explore Wookey Hole before playing their first match at Taunton Prep. In the evening, they had fun bowling before settling in for the night at their hotel. An early start the next day began with a hearty breakfast to fuel them for their second fixture against West Buckland School. After some fantastic Rugby and Hockey games, the teams spent a relaxing afternoon at Weston-super-Mare beach. #RGSTheGrange #RGSFamilyOfSchools #Education
On Thursday, Year Three had an amazing Stone Age-themed morning. Working in tribes, they took on four exciting challenges: building a shelter, designing a trap, crafting a piece of Stone Age jewellery, and creating a Stone Age painting using natural objects as paintbrushes. The fresh air really sparked their creativity! #RGSTheGrange #RGSFamilyOfSchools #Education
This afternoon we enjoyed our Harvest Festival Assembly. As a school, we are committed to supporting our community. Thank you to all our families for your generous support and donating to the Worcester Food Bank, as well as for celebrating with us through the wonderful musical performances across the age groups.
