ππ― The School Was Buzzing for World Bee Day! π―π
Our school community came together today to celebrate World Bee Day, led by a fantastic assembly from 6PR. Pupils worked incredibly hard researching, designing slides and writing engaging scripts to teach the School all about the importance of bees and pollinators.
A special highlight was a FaceTime call with Ayrtonβs grandad, βBob the Beekeeper,β in France, who shared his knowledge and humour with the children, while Year Four pupil Frazer proudly showed his own beekeeping tools and explained the different parts of a hive.
To celebrate all their hard work, pupils were rewarded with little jars of honey from the bees! A wonderful day of learning, teamwork and enthusiasm - the School has truly been buzzing all week!
