🔥 Great Fire of London Comes to Life! 🔥
Year Two had a brilliant day yesterday during their Great Fire of London workshop.
The children enjoyed an interactive morning that brought their learning to life, discovering what life was like in London in 1666, including the crowded wooden houses, narrow streets and the spread of plague. They also learned about how people fought fires in the 17th century and had great fun using water pumps to spray water over the houses they had created themselves.
A fantastic hands-on experience that helped deepen their understanding of this important moment in history.

🏊♀️ Congratulations to Angela on an outstanding achievement at the National IAPS Swimming Finals!
On Saturday, Angela competed at the iconic Olympic Pool in Stratford, alongside some of the very best swimmers from IAPS schools across the country. In an incredibly competitive field, she produced a superb performance in the heats to secure a place in the final.
Angela then went on to finish 10th in the country, a fantastic accomplishment and a fitting reward for her hard work, dedication and focus in the pool.

🎨🐱 This term, our Year Three artists have been inspired by the much-loved story The Mousehole Cat.
Using vibrant chalk pastels, the children have carefully explored colour, texture and shading to recreate the soft, velvety fur of Mowzer, the famous village cat. Their attention to detail and creativity have been wonderful to see, and the finished artwork is fantastic.
Well done to all of our young artists for their hard work and imagination! ✨
