Forest School

Forest School embraces all parts of the curriculum and helps children to learn to think and become resilient.

Forest School at RGS The Grange offers all learners an opportunity to develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in our two woodland areas.

Children have the opportunity to observe the natural world, climb trees, problem solve, work as a team, use their imagination and learn how to handle tools and equipment safely.

From the age of two, children explore Forest School weekly, under the close supervision of our dedicated team, and take part in topic related activities. They follow five simple rules to keep safe whilst developing their independence and broadening their vocabulary using and exploring natural materials and having time to become immersed in their learning.

Forest School is an inspirational Learning environment that offers all pupils opportunities to develop confidence and self-esteem.
