🏉 WARRIORS VISIT RGS THE GRANGE
As part of The RGS Worcester Family of Schools’ role as Official Education Partner of Worcester Warriors, our pupils enjoy unique opportunities to learn from and spend time with professional players.
During this week’s visit, pupils took part in a lively question-and-answer session, discovering more about life as a professional Rugby player before having the opportunity to collect autographs and get their favourite items signed.
A highlight was the chance to take to the pitch and be coached by current Worcester Warriors players, learning new skills and receiving expert advice directly from the professionals.
Thank you to the Warriors players for giving our pupils such a memorable experience.

🏉 UNDER EIGHT RUGBY FESTIVAL
RGS The Grange was delighted to welcome visiting schools for yesterday’s Under Eight Rugby Festival.
The afternoon provided a wonderful opportunity for the young players to develop their skills, enjoy competitive matches and demonstrate excellent teamwork and sportsmanship.
Pictured is one of the RGS teams that took part in a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon of Rugby.

🏛️ DESIGNING THE CLASSROOM OF THE FUTURE
Year Six pupils immersed themselves in the world of Architecture yesterday during an exciting collaborative project with @glazzard_architects and Architecture students from @lboroughuniversity.
After learning more about the work of an architect, pupils became the clients for the day, developing their own briefs and sharing ideas for a classroom of the future. Working alongside the university students, they considered how learning spaces could be creatively reimagined to meet the needs of future pupils.
The next stage will see Year Six visit Loughborough University to discover how the Architecture students have interpreted their briefs and developed their ideas.

💻 Cracking the Code at RGS The Grange! 🔐
RGS The Grange has been buzzing with curiosity and problem-solving as we launched Code Week with an inspiring assembly led by Mr Warne.
Pupils explored the fascinating world of codebreaking, discovering how programming develops critical thinking and learning about the remarkable efforts to crack the Enigma code during the Second World War.
Inspired by the assembly, children have wasted no time tackling coding challenges, with puzzles appearing on screens around the school. They have also been busy designing and inventing their own codes for classmates to decipher!
What a fantastic start to Code Week, celebrating our pupils’ creativity, logical thinking and determination to solve problems.

🤖 Meet WALL-E: Year Five’s Scarecrow Creation! 🌱
We’re thrilled to reveal that the Year Five Scarecrow Club has completed its very first project – a fantastic scarecrow inspired by WALL-E!
After weeks of hard work, creativity and teamwork, the children have brought their robotic creation to life using recycled materials. From the tin-can neck and arms to the chunky black tracks, bright yellow body and big binocular eyes, every detail has been carefully crafted. Complete with gloved hands and a seat of straw, WALL-E is ready to roll!
We are incredibly proud of the children’s imagination, patience and dedication. A huge well done to everyone involved in bringing this brilliant project to life!
