We are delighted to announce that The RGS Worcester Family of Schools has been shortlisted in the TES awards 2024 as a Finalist in the category of βBest Use of Technologyβ. TES awards, dubbed the βOscars of Educationβ, celebrates excellence across the whole education sector.

Tuesday`s `Sing, Sing, Sing` concert at Worcester Cathedral was a dazzling sold-out celebration of singing. From soul-stirring reflections by RGS The Grange, Springfield, and Dodderhill choirs to the spine-tingling harmonies of RGS Worcester`s Junior Choir, every moment was magical.
The RGS Chamber Choir`s rendition of Laura Mvula`s `Sing To The Moon` and `Hear My Prayer` were simply breathtaking. And let`s not forget the show-stopping finale: a 250-strong mass choir belting out an ABBA medley, leaving the whole audience on their feet for an encore of `Dancing Queen`! Congratulations to all performers and teachers involved!

Mixed Cricket π
Our Under 10 and Under 11 cricketers played their first mixed cricket match of the season against King`s St Alban`s. They showed great sportsmanship and enjoyed two exciting matches. Well done, everyone! π

Pupils from Year One and Two had a fantastic morning visiting the Infirmary Museum. They had an interesting tour finding out about the Infirmaryβs history, including medical care and ideas, the way the patients were treated, and how little training the Doctors and Nurses had.
They then had lots of fun using the interactive displays to find out about the developments in medical advances and dressing up!
